  1. I made a thing!

Benoit, a tiny GLSL 3.0 ES fragment shader loader, and compressor for the web!

    codeberg.org/refurio/benoit

It's shadertoy compatible, and can load their export files! No mouse, textures, or audio yet. Baseline is 770 bytes for a trivial shader. I made a bet with myself to get my Julibob Tunnel study under 1k, and I got down to 1046 bytes...! Still, that should settle it for now, mine is shorter than yours!

Already a year ago, I wrote a small #python script creating an #ics calendar file which can be read by almost any calendar software. Using a scheduled job (e.g., with #cron), I have the always updated calendar in my #Thunderbird.

In the meantime, I forgot about it, but now I want to share it with you (on #Codeberg, of course): codeberg.org/mahlzahn/forgejo-

Do any #roku developers here know how this could be used to expose the schedule for The Indie Beat roku app so that we show up in searches on the platform? I know apps can submit a search json of some sort but never have used that feature. This might attract some attention for artists among the non fediverse users.

  12. Would you like to contribute something easy to a little project?

My game-devices-udev is missing out some udev-rules already in steam-devices. This would be a good chance to kill some time and do some MR :D (and even learn git, markdown, udev in the process!)

  18. If a public foss repo offers a foss setup.sh command line script which, step by step, performs the installation / usage steps the repo readme lists for use at the command line to set up/use the code, what trust measures would you insist upon before downloading and before running the setup.sh script at your local command line? Is there a better way of offering an helpful automated but trustworthy than a scary .sh ?

  19. so, apparently hacking #scheme is going to get even more fun with B.L.U.E., a sane, extendable, lisp-y l, agnostic build system and #Ares, the interactive hacking tool we always sensed was missing from our work. Yes, we now have insightful backtraces in #guile!

  22. Hetzner Domain & Codeberg Pages
