Eine Frau aus dem Andenhochland von #Ayacucho erzählt aus ihrem Leben, geprägt von einer Geschichte der Gewalt, die bis heute wirkt. Heute setzen sich die #Frauen für Gerechtigkeit und Gleichberechtigung ein. Das Video entstand als partizipatives Projekt mit Frauen & Mädchen der Quechua in Ayacucho. Wir danken dem Zentrum der indigenen Kulturen Perus Quirapaq für diesen Film und die Genehmigung zur Veröffentlichung.

To all the naysayers who (without trying this themselves or reading the history of moderation on the platform or reading the community guidelines) keep telling me that #NextDoor is not a good place to organize locally and change attitudes, I just got this email. And so did all of my neighbors who post hyper-conservative, gun-gloating, conspiracy-minded, suspicious, aggressive, religiously superior messages there. (Oooh I bet they're fuming.) I'm going to continue to call them out, and I'll know that NextDoor will have my back when I moderate their asses. I'm staying focused, like NextDoor is, on creating a kinder, closer community where everyone feels welcome. This will undermine fascism's hold in this area, and it could in your region, too, if you feel so called.
