I have a few Audible credits to use and I’m eying the Murderbot series, but I see they have standard audiobooks read by one person, or dramatized versions read by a cast of characters.. Based on the reviews I assume the single narrator is the better option?

I read Ed Ashton's Mickey books & love them. Entertaining & smart. A bit like #Murderbot that way.
Just finished watching Bong Joon Ho's #Mickey17. Based on the first book. I had high expectations. Stupid me.
The movie butchers the books. It kills the characters, misses the point about the clones not being the same, its attempt at satire is out of place & annoying, it trivializes the creepers, has no story... and it's more than 2hrs long.
Painful.
What a total waste of time and money.

I started watching Murderbot, the TV adaptation of Martha Wells' "The murderbot diaries". Well, the first season is all focused on the first novel, "All systems red" and I was extra skeptical, especially since the huge disappointment in the Silo TV show, but I must say that this show clicks all the right buttons
I've already seen the main actor in another role that I quite enjoyed but for the life of me I can't remember where and when.
Anyhoo, if you liked the books or if you're looking for a mid-light hearted show, this one is highly suggested

Was macht man, wenn man 3 Monate AppleTV geschenkt bekommt? Erst mal gucken, was die da so zur Zeit anbieten.
Hab mich gestern dann für #Murderbot angefangen. Schick kurze Folgen (~20min). Genau das Richtige für "zwischendurch".
Nix da. Nach Folge 6 musste ich mich zwingen, das Gerät auszuschalten. Aus dem Alter bin ich echt raus, bis spät in die Nacht vor der Glotze zu hängen 😂.
Heute Abend geht's also weiter. Kann's kaum erwarten 😂.
