Für mich überraschend: Selbst kleinste Mengen (anfassen und dann ohne Hände waschen was essen) sind schon gefährlich - und die Symptome kommen ziemlich zeitversetzt.

In der Hoffnung, dass es den ein- oder anderen Autofahrer zum grinsen bringt und mit einem bissle Dialekt dran erinnert, dass ma dahanna doch gar koin rennerdles fährt.

Gestern habe ich ewig gedebugged warum die Messwerte vom #smartmeter so komisch sind und sich nur alle 12 Stunden aktualisieren...
Turns out das dumme Teil hat alle Einstellungen vergessen und ich konnte nochmal mit der Taschenlampe den Pin eingeben und die detaillierten Daten freischalten und dann den Pin deaktivieren.
Das Datum am dem keine sinnvollen Werte mehr kamen passt mit einem kurzen Stromausfall/Erdkabelschaden zusammen.
Also wenns da auf einmal merkwürdige Daten gibt erstmal ab in den Keller und nicht erst ewig remote auf dem Raspi die Rohdaten vom Lesekopf ausseinanderpflücken.
Es ist ein #ISKRA Typ MT631-D1A52-K0z-H01 von 2022.

I know/knew people with #COPD [1]. You really don't want to get it and die from it or have a relative/friend with it. Just being unable to breathe, needing to rest every few steps or being bedridden and getting additional infections because the immune system is too weak... no fun at all.

...and mounted a towbar. Because it was super cheap as nobody seems to buy one for a ~20 year old car with an electric parking brake and no hill brake assist. Hey, I just need to be aware of that limitation.
160€ including shipping is a great price. Parts are powder coated. I just need to splice into the tail lights, which will be done tomorrow.
I will put some fuses in the wires to the trailer connector - I really do not want to disassemble the front of the car to get to the fuse box if trailer wiring is bad.

I tend to work on projects up to ~95% and end up with nearly working stuff that takes up space and stays like this for years... Its nearly 3 AM now but my vintage drill press is finally assembled, got a variable freuency drive, a light to see what I am drilling, all the wiring is new, the power switch is repaired (loose screws = molten plastic) and the broken cast iron frame is fixed with liquid metal and painted. #drillPress #vintage #repair

#Computers are wonderful... they still surprise me once in a while.
One of my #tasmota devices just stopped answering commands via #mqtt but was happily reporting status back via MQTT.
After a lot of debugging I found that the MQTT topic changed from /cmnd/... to /cmjd/...
j in ASCII is 0x6E or 0b010 1110
n in ASCII is 0x6A or 0b0110 1010So basically one bit flipped from 0 to 1.
Bit flip? Table flip!
(╯° °）╯︵ ┻━┻That is my first self-observed obvious bitflip. Hooray!
So I will now configure the MQTT Sender to use cmjd for this device, obviously...

#car #heater not working and #coolant not visible in reservoir but hot engine and cooling fan running for some time after stop... Last mechanic invoice (<250km ago) lists 0,5 l antifreeze.
Heating was working without issues two days ago.Surprize coolant leak - yay!
Is it a hose? Is it the radiator? Is the engine toast?
The car was cheap and in relatively good condition. It was driven <10000 km in the last 7 years, so got an oil change and Inspection every ~1500km.
Its surprising how good and reliable my 27 year old #vwgolf works vs. this 17 year old #renaultscenic . I bouht the #vwgolf at age ~23 years with ~35000km and all sorts of plastic parts, ignition coil, light bulbs and other stuff failed shortly after, just due to age. Now the #renaultscenic goes through the same process... Lets hope this phase of finding out what parts did not age well will not lead to an endless rabbit hole or wasted time/money. After all, both cars were 1st owner, garage cars.

The charger shows -24534 mAh.
Assuming this thing uses an int16 to store the charged capacity its now at 41 Ah charged, which is totally fine for a "dead, to be scrapped" car battery.

#Leonovo #ideapad 520s does not charge and does not run from power supply, but runs from power supply with unplugged battery?
In my case, the broken part was PQ305, AON7408L in DFN8-5 package, on the PCB side that faces the keyboard.
The metal foil is best removed from the inside with a toothpick through those two holes.
I used hot air to replace the part.
Part cost shipped: 10€ (10 pcs - anyone need 9?)
Diagnosis time: ~1 hour

Finally ist das Kinderzubehör (Lätzchen & co) sinnvoll direkt am Hochstuhl verstaut. Dazu hat ein alter Lattenrost (der teils auch schon ein Stück Geländer/Absturzschutz wurde) zwei Streben spendiert. Auf Maß gebracht, geschliffen, Bohrungen für die Schrauben und schwupps passen Euroboxen oder auch Eurobox-kompatible Holzkisten rein und lassen sich sogar vor/zurück schieben.
