My son is on his second #ifixit battery in 5 months for an #iphone 11. Ifixit replaced the first one after the battery wouldn't keep a charge, and now it's happening again. The phone keeps saying the battery is at 1% even though it's partially charged. How likely is it that he got 2 faulty batteries? It seems like something else is wrong with the phone. Does anyone have advice about this? We cannot afford a new iphone right now.

Have these chips on Orange Pi 5, but can’t find them neither in the schematic (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wsp-Q7IyG0Ky_W-z1n5oXcFG4oqIbtOb/view) nor by the chip markings.

Those are tiny bga chips marked as D25DH 6QR73 or D3FEH 68S53.

They are located under the CPU, so must be related.

I also noticed that these same chips on the same model of Orange Pi have different markings but in a similar fashion.

I've just received a Manta Kit from #ifixit @iFixit which I paid 55€ for. It was described as "new, but missing/damaged packaging".

In the photo I marked every bit that wasn't in the right place (some were double, so some must be missing) and the grime and damage on the screwdrivers themselves. I've contacted them, let's see how they react.

But this is completely unacceptable and has nothing to do with "we checked the item"

iFixit publica su nuevo índice de reparabilidad para auriculares inalámbricos. Tras analizar 14 modelos, solo los Fairbuds XL alcanzan 10/10 gracias a su diseño modular y repuestos oficiales. La mayoría de marcas fallan en baterías pegadas, puertos USB‑C soldados y falta de guías. Un recurso útil para elegir productos más reparables.

Doing my best to keep on saving Raspberry Pis from the dustbin 😊.

This one arrived with 8 green led blinks - well known RAM chip soldering issue.

It takes some time, but mostly reflowing does the trick.

It did this time as well - you can see it from the impedance on one of the RAM IC caps and USB tester - so we have one more happy customer 🙌🏻.
