Et sinon je cherche toujours un endroit où dormir à #Quimper pendant 3 mois, entre le 20 septembre et le 22 décembre (les week-ends je rentrerai à Rennes pour pas déranger). J'ai un petit budget (pas + de 300€/mois), aucune aide de la part de la Gironde le temps de ma formation, et je suis toujours en pleine sanction de mon RSA (-50% jusqu'à décembre). Il faudrait que je ne sois pas trop trop loin de l'EMBA à vélo pour économiser le bus au maximum.
J'aurais mon #vélo avec moi, pas de voiture. Je ne fume pas et j'aime pas être dehors le soir. Je suis très amicale et paradoxalement très discrète. J'ai toujours vécu avec des animaux et en collectif, je mange pas de viande et j'aurais donc besoin d'emprunter la cuisine pour le dîner 👉👈
Si vous connaissez quelqu'un·e qui aurait une chambre pour moi, je n'y serai que de 17h à 8h du matin chaque jour.

Trying out #Couchsurfing for the first time, and the UX is really weird. I am looking for hosts in a small town in northern Germany, and it will happily tell me that it has 6 hosts there. The only problem is that four of them are in a city in Denmark, and two of them are in other small towns 50 km away from the town I was looking at. Like, cool that there are options, but maybe just straight-up tell me "sorry, no one here, the closest I can do for you is X (42 km away) and Y (48 km away)".
Even weirder: looking at a city with a lot of hosts, it will just randomly throw in a host from some town in Denmark, or Spain (?!), before showing me more people from the city I was actually looking at.
Don't really understand if this is just broken, or if there is some weird reason I don't see behind this, but it doesn't inspire confidence.

It takes all kinds! I did a fair amount of #couchsurfing and hosted about 50+ travellers, and was lucky to only have one weird host, and a few annoying but harmless surfers. But, you never know. The review system definitely helps to filter out the worst of the bunch. -

The " is also his. I of course refused him saying that I can't accept a generated request, especially from a man "thank your fellow men". "Why? I volunteered for Ukraine in 2022" And of course I blocked him. He seems to feel entitled for my couch.
And of course from time to time I block men who obviously try to use hospitality platforms as dating apps. And of course I've had unpleasant experience hosting men (luckily not dangerous but very manly)
