Unfortunately, I need to ask for money again. I don't want to, but after reviewing my finances and upcoming royalty payments, I'm not going to be able to cover bills.
I don't need a lot, just enough to buy medical supplies and pay my phone bill.

Why do I need help? I'm a disabled Type 1 Diabetic Transgender woman with complicated mental illness. I'm not currently employed and I don't have a lot of options where I live that I could actually do with my physical limitations.
What am I doing about it? Early November, I'll be launching a new video project, mostly about video games, which will be free for all and supported by ads and patreon. Hopefully, I can get to a point where I don't need to ask for help anymore.

Sitting at $125 Needed on Mom's bday, stranded in this room and unable to even get her a meal
Even just having left the ER and her life on the edge of death we're neglected and abandoned
Truly I don't understand where #CommunityCare dwells in this world
You push #MutualAid into charity as those with ongoing needs are treated as burdens bc it can't give the same feel good seratonin burst as being a "hero" one time

:cybre_glitch: MUTUAL AID FOR OCT - $0/250 - $75 needed ASAP for meds :cybre_glitch:
Hey! It's Glitch, your friendly neighborhood mod!
I'm trans nonbinary and neurodivergent, living with multiple disabilities including ME/CFS and degenerative disc disease in my lower spine.
So I found out that my insurance will not cover the cost of my adderall, which I absolutely need right now. I also need cat food, cat litter, personal care and hygiene items, and to pay a couple small bills that are on autopay.
Please boost and help if you're able! Thanks!https://paypal.me/themastercircuit

Good morning, new boring day discussing shit at work about doing a task trying to avoid a refactor that just takes 1 day of work and that I already have done but shelved waiting for approval.
We have spent at least a week talking about how to do a system that took me 1 day to develop and how to avoid a refactor that is another day of work. Is it a big refactor? Yes, it is a big refactor, but now we have a duplicated system with less features and a week long meeting hell involving at least 8+ people.
Yes, no wonder why we can't ship a game :waffy_sad:
How is your day? Something interesting? Show me something gamedev fun, I need motivation

Sometimes, all you need is a quiet evening by the water, a beautiful sunset, and a moment to slow down.
No rush, no noise, just the sky reflecting on the water and a little peace of mind. Nature has a way of reminding us to take a breath and enjoy the moment.

The traditional meetings to decide on something in business really need a revolution. You gather people in a room (that can be virtual) to agree on something.
This made sense in the beforetime. Now you can have an async discussion on Slack, Discord, Matrix or similar where people can spend time thinking about the issue and even do small experiments before concluding.
Best of all, you have documentation both of the final outcome, but also the intermediate steps that lead to the conclusion.
Why do so many people still think meetings the way when clearly they are not. -
