We tend to ignore the turdsite stuff.Since Monday, a new interest of ours is in using the peer-to-peer network (#I2P) to #democratise fediverse #contentDelivery. So when a person positively interacts with a toot the content is retained to be served by that person (if they have not flagged content and their battery is above 50%).
In this context moderation becomes self-fulfilling, and the use of I2P protects the users from survellance and targetting.

Okay. Hopefully it actually does do a positive thing. Too often when developers have controlled things we've end up with human filing cabinetry, unsafe developments (see #CrackingUp) slumlords and many different forms of illness arise from it. Not to mention the loss of charm and restorative benefits from having character and craftsmanship on display in the built environment. -

@zleap Which platform(s) are you using? On iOS (and I believe macOS) you can do that natively by clicking and dragging on text in an image.
For Linux, I use Frog (https://flathub.org/apps/details/com.github.tenderowl.frog).

Okay but how about #deleteFacebook updates.Your #failbook, #birdsite and #youScrewed updates are stored in numerous #datacenters all around the world. They are sold to the highest bidders. They are run through #dataAnalytics and numerous algorithms that waste #energy, and produce #CO2. They are used to sell stuff and candidates that will destroy the environment.

Yes Nolan and Paul,Very well identified.
We believe its called #GpgMadeEasy (or #GPGME), which is a plugin for applications that are designed to boost the #userExperience, for software designed to use it.
A person on #I2P (they serve an #eepsite) has developed a more user friendly system for standard #GPG operations. Their software is available at multiple location and is hosted at the #internetArchive also.
If you search available eepsites you'll find it quickly.

Consider also baking into any images a watermark of your website and business so that your #captcha cannot be ethically passed onto #microWorkers.The Man-In-The-Middle Attack Prevention Gator, aka #MitiGator is #FOSS and provides alternatives dynamically based on what a person toots or boosts.

Indeed we cannot overstate enough the importance of green spaces, including private #greenSpace and large #trees on #publicHealth generally, including #mentalHealth.Taking walks amongst #largeTrees and spending time at naturally occuring #mudBath retreats can (and was) prescribed by #doctors in the past century.
We know someone who's life benefitted greatly from at least one trip to such a #retreat.

Also noteworthy re #COVID, it has strained #relationships heavily. A similar outbreak of disease happened prior to 1930s.The automated and targetted ways in which memes and propaganda can be given via closed #socialMedia is new to today. Also new, our internet is become Man-in-the-Middled by the corporate state (actual #militaryContractors mostly, if not all). A handful of fascist entities control and see 95-99% of internet traffic today.

Problem with multi function shield
I am trying to sort out an issue with a multi function shield for the Arduino Uno, this is a smal addon sheild that givers access to LEDs, Switches, Buzzer and a 4x8 segment display as well as various IO connectors.
For some reason the numbers are not displaying properly. I have made a blog post where I have tried to give a more detailed description of the issue and come up with a few ideas as to the issue.

It is worth noting that the board I have looks the same as this, but is from Amazon and seems to have a few spelling errors on the board name,
Mulie-function-shide, rather than multi function shield.
Just wondered if anyone has this board, and can perhaps try the code out or suggest what else may be wrong please.

"No-one looks like me" is sadly a legitimate issue & doesn't only apply to job opps but also to people 'in nature'. This needs to change (& is) through movements like #MuslimHikers #FlockTogether #Black2Nature & others - often using social media
to organise.The notion that access to nature is in any way not for absolutely everyone is, IMO, what needs to be dispelled. The challenge then is to facilitate this access

People use energy. Its counter-intuitive but the way to make oil companies pay is by not demanding energy from them then they start to lose.Making ones community less car dependent, eg. more smaller corner shops.
Less weapons. Less military.
Strike out products that waste fuel, eg. buy organic and local.
One of the most important thing we can all do is have one less child. Nothing #divests from unethical practices better. One less child = 500 cars gone if memory serves.

This #dieInAFire slogan goes perfectly with a new satirical logo we dreamt up.We had an idea a few weeks ago to draw the four-colour #Windows squares as a cigarette packet instead. There are four shapes the cig' packet is one colour, topped with a downward chevron lid. The lid is divided by a (yellow or red) #cigarette jutting out of the pack just right of center so its left edge aligns with the base of the chevron (lid). Either side of lid are the two remaining colours.
