Did a little pigment hunting at the mouth of a local river yesterday - picked up a bug handful of what turned out to be lignite (brown coal)! Very cool: #Nanaimo has history as a coal-mining town but I didn't think that I would ever just stumble across a band of it just sitting there.
There's much to unpack here as an animist: so many spirits to get to know (and some to reckon with.)

On Sunday I upped my T subq dose for the first time in 2 years.
48 hours later I was trying to go to bed and instead had a pounding heart, racing thoughts, and crawling skin all nite.
I have no idea why T does this to me, but it always has. My dose directly correlates with the intensity of my #hypomania and its such an impossible thing to talk about with anyone in the community because it's just so... not normal.
Any other T-takers with #bipolar disorder here?

Started my first job with a business casual dress code (albeit emphasis on the casual I think) and I've quickly discovered that off-the-rack clothes make me look like a slob!
Fortunately, basic tailoring techniques are very, very easy to do. (The most important part, imo, is getting the right thread. Especially for pants, I'd recommend quilting weight at least.)
