Throwing things and swearing a lot - our son's nurse called from Nanaimo hospital, new patient in his room under 'droplet' protocol and would it be ok for him to wear a mask (as an FYI, hardly anyone masks there)
Won't say if it's Covid, but likely
1: Droplet protocol is gaslighting, anything respiratory is aerosol
2: Why isn't that patient isolated?

While our Down's adult son is in NRGH with multiple complications, which is stumping the docs - watching the units set up for the nurse pickets tomorrow is a thesis on mismanagement
The ward managers simply don't know what is going on, all tests cancelled, they don't know about food service or basic care, or porter service as other unions can/will not cross picket lines - no parking, drop off zone blocked
Nanaimo hospital had plenty of warning, and failing

It could be co-working place, cabin, AirBnB, or hotel, or anything... I just need a private space with close access to good coffee. Somewhere nice but without a lot of distractions.
