@lannan Can you share the study? I have seen many studies (large scale meta analysis etc.) showing these links between a meat/'normal' diet and the links with cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes etc, especially when compared to vegetarians/vegans, but of course my bias is very transparent. 😁
The movie #ForksOverKnives (free to watch on their website) covers this in better detail, and of course #WhatTheHealth does a good (but some would argue biased) job of going through all the positive aspects of it.

As someone coming into genuine, affirming, and embodied #heterosexuality later in life, I've given lots of thought as to what it actually IS and how it feels different from queerness or gayness.
So #straight mastodon, what does being het feel like? What does being in a relationship with a very different/opposite gender feel like? What flavor does your chemistry come in?

On Sunday I upped my T subq dose for the first time in 2 years.
48 hours later I was trying to go to bed and instead had a pounding heart, racing thoughts, and crawling skin all nite.
I have no idea why T does this to me, but it always has. My dose directly correlates with the intensity of my #hypomania and its such an impossible thing to talk about with anyone in the community because it's just so... not normal.
Any other T-takers with #bipolar disorder here?

ETA: I don't actually have SAD! But I don't currently see the sun during the workweek and because of my insomnia meds I need all the help getting out of bed that I can get hehe.

Started my first job with a business casual dress code (albeit emphasis on the casual I think) and I've quickly discovered that off-the-rack clothes make me look like a slob!
Fortunately, basic tailoring techniques are very, very easy to do. (The most important part, imo, is getting the right thread. Especially for pants, I'd recommend quilting weight at least.)
