    Recently I was adjusting my son’s parental control on his tablet, and thought ya know I guess I really should just allow my iCloud.com email (that I don’t really use) to make me more findable for messsages and FaceTime.

    Not even 47 hours later I r had four scams texted to me and randomly added to some crazy group. Uh no. We’l just leave that stupid thing turned off now. Yikes.

    I must say, I’m pretty impressed with the Continuity Camera feature on #Ventura. Just FaceTimed with my mum by hanging my wallet case over the front of my monitor. So nice to not have to buy a separate webcam for my new office setup. #Apple's “It just works" slogan is sometimes a big fat lie, but in this case, it's absolutely true.

    Too bad Mum didn't have her glasses on, so she didn’t notice the nice crisp picture. 🤣

    Très belle surprise que ce Still Up, sur Apple TV+. Je dois avouer que j’étais un petit peu sceptique au départ, sur cette comédie romantique qui essaie de renouveler les codes en imaginant une relation principalement à travers FaceTime.

    Néanmoins, les deux acteurs sont excellents et l’alchimie entre les deux personnages est palpable. Au fil des épisodes, Still Up a fini par m’enchanter. Je recommande !

    Anyone been to #Osaka know of any cheap/good value mobile internet option i.e. a physical/e Sim you could buy at the airport or in town?

    My requirements are at least 10 days of internet connectivity and the higher data cap the better but ideally has (at least) basic unlimited data beyond the given limit. Stuck between getting any of these options I have found atm:

    -     #Airalo (6.50 USD/~27.98 MYR): 2GB TOTAL (seems incredibly little), 15 days

    - Airalo (8.50 USD/~36.59 MYR): 3GB     TOTAL (still little, no?), 30 days

    - Airalo (11.50 USD/~49.50 MYR): 5GB     TOTAL (ok, I guess?), 30 days

    - Airalo (18.00 USD/~77.48 MYR): 10GB     TOTAL, 30 days

    -     #NTTdocomo (~16.72 USD/71.99 MYR): 10GB TOTAL (unlimited basic), 10 days

    Data usage would probably be more comprised of things like a lot of social media (i.e.     #Instagram for my partner), messaging, a little bit of internet calls (i.e. #WhatsApp, #Facetime), and probably a ton of misc things you'd need in #Japan like #Google Maps/Translate, browsing, etc.

    I've a ton of mobile data locally and rarely use them cos I'd be on WiFi instead most of the time, so honestly not sure how much data we'd need.
