    Yi Jin Jing, auf Chinesisch auch als „Klassiker der Muskel- und Sehnentransformation“ bekannt, ist eine Form des Qigong, die sich auf die Stärkung von Muskeln und Sehnen sowie die Verbesserung der Flexibilität des Körpers konzentriert. Es ist Teil der alten chinesischen Qigong-Praktiken und wird oft mit der buddhistischen Tradition in Verbindung gebracht. Hier ist eine allgemeine Beschreibung der Eigenschaften von Yi Jin Jing: Herkunft: Der Yi Jin Jing geht auf die Tang-Dynastie (618-907) in China zurück. Es wird Bodhidharma zugeschrieben, einem indischen buddhistischen Mönch, der den Chan-Buddhismus (Zen) in China eingeführt haben soll. Der Legende nach hat Bodhidharma diese Übungsreihe entwickelt, um die Gesundheitsprobleme buddhistischer Mönche zu lindern, insbesondere um ihren durch stundenlange Meditation geschwächten Körper zu stärken.
