Drummer just sent me this link, and some custom songs he generated that are about our bass player
RIP:
– all small-scale private custom composing work
– all jingle work except the largest budget maybe
– the majority of music licensing... off the top of my head. All stuff that my friends are engaged in to greater or lesser extent.

Up until 5 years ago I worked an office job at a jingle production company, and it was wild to hear seriously skilled musicians & singers grind on the same 10-second elements for weeks at a time.
