Had to check in on NA to see what @adam has to say about the #flooding. Same old shit.
When it happens around him, he complains about the conspiracy thinking preventing people from looking at the history, thinking clearly to figure things out and preventing future problems. Awesome. Yes it's obviously a problem.
But when it's far away, when it's not his concern, he feeds the conservative crazy cause it gets him listeners and money. Selfish grifting assholes.

Dvorak made a great point. Why can't we massively tax the ridiculous profits of big pharma to fund the early medical research that their drug patents rely on? 100% agree!
(obviously this money would then still flow from govt to universities and is completely besides the point of the current controversies, and this is all totally inconsistent with the libertarian themes of the show and their audience)

I just wish that when Dvorak debunked @adam, we'd never hear him mention that conspiracy again. Or god forbid, have him then go and debunk the bullshit to others as somebody they can trust isn't just a "shill".
Today, John explained how long COVID can't be related to the vax cause his kid had it and never got vaxed. And last week he explained how the jet engines can't be causing chemtrails cause he knows adding anything to them would screw up the mechanics.

Listening to #NoAgenda with a critical ear can be like watching movies that are so bad, they're good. @adam being all in on getting rid of the synthetic food coloring only to have Dvorak bring up that the natural alternatives are often made from beetles. After they've been complaining for years that the evil establishment is trying to make us all eat bugs.

No idea if #NoAgenda is serious about ending the show at the end of the Trump administration, but imo they should instead at least try just doing one show per week ASAP. I'd bet lots of people drop off cause if they can't listen to most of it, they start to feel like they don't understand the inside jokes. They feel less connected to the community.

Hey @adam, if you guys really cared whether vaccines cause autism, you'd have asked an obvious question right after playing one of your clips today. It said boys get autism 3x more than girls and minorities more than whites. How can this be if vax rates are similar among sexes and whites are more vaccinated than minorities?
I'm not smarter and able to catch what you missed. You're just choosing to suck up to an audience that wants to believe #MAGA MAHA bs.

Great to hear @adam and JCD desperately try to defend the Eric Adams DOJ deal. He was a very bad man till he joined #MAGA world. They try to turn it into a #FederalistSociety conspiracy centered on the admitted otherwise impeccable Sassoon and completely ignore that many other staff resigned as well. This is why I listen to #NoAgenda. Cause they expose stuff like Chris Rufo saying that he was on a messaging campaign to negatively brand #CriticalRaceTheory and lump all the social ideas of the left under it. Make people aware of this manipulation of their perception.

is anybody in the NA community running #matrix servers etc? the Chicago peeps have a hard time coordinating and that got me wondering if there couldn't/shouldn't be a NA matrix server and then we could have rooms for each local community. maybe for different interests too.
I use matrix for my show instead of IRC cause it lets me take calls, but I don't otherwise know too much about it. except that it seems to be a growing standard for messaging. #ITM #TYFYC #TBPITU

I sense a new direction for #NoAgenda. Basically just adding alt media to their list of shows to deconstruct. Keep hitting on M5M bs as they see it but add in the most influential non mainstream pieces of propaganda too. Do less pretending that they know what's coming next or pushing their own conspiracies. This would be a great service for those likely to fall into the next Q rabbit hole, but probably piss off a lot of longtime fans. #ITM #TBPITU #TYFYC

When I hear @adam mock others for their CRACKPOT ideas like the lady kneeling in the room before cleaning it up or his medbed friends in Hill country, I'm reminded of this atheist quote:

Does all of NAS now think @adam is a commie too (and @John who seemed to agree with him) for pointing out why universal health care is better? I've asked NAS folks from countries with it if they'd rather have our system and nobody has ever said yes. I never see anybody on NAS volunteer that they disagree with anything conservative or Trump coded. You'll tell me not to assume you like Trump but you only ever truly bitch about Dems and the M5M. The opening of today's NA episode was a great example of what's valuable but also fucked up about the show. They're still great at media deconstruction when they focus on it (instead of explaining policy or predicting how imagined conspiracies will play out) but they cover the left and right so differently. They paint Trump as so smart for how he tries to manipulate the public, while it's corrupt for Democrats to even try to do the same. PS it's wrong no matter who does it.

This I agree with @adam and @John on. As a lefty with some education in economics, owners want more #immigration to keep labor costs low. Especially now that average wages are starting to go up after decades of lagging behind profits. They love that limiting immigration is now seen as racist. This is a major fissure in the left, between those who prioritize social issues and my folks who prioritize economic progress (we all care about both). #ITM #TBPITU #TYFYC

When #Trump said #bloodbath, he was talking about the economy, not civil war etc. Thank you @adam and @John. I find his total disrespect for democracy abhorrent, but we should always be fair (even when the people who disagree with us are not). I used to work in #Boston TV news and can confirm that everything @Johncdvorak and @adam say about Television Biz in general is 110% true no exaggeration.
The worst moment for me personally was watching people in the newsroom high five each other for being the first on the scene showing the blood on the street after an abortion clinic shooting.. after that I got out of the biz... #imdone #itm #tyfyc
