Räume immer noch auf. Was ich Euch immer noch empfehlen wollte: Thomas Hoepkers #DDR-Bilder!
Ich war im letzten Jahr in Paris auf Photomessen und habe dort Thomas Gust getroffen, der gerade das Buch fertig gemacht hatte. Danach war ich im Dezember in Humus & Friends essen und die teilen sich die Räume mit Thomas' Galerie. So konnte ich einige der Bilder in großformatigen Abzügen sehen.
Einfach großartig. Jetzt habe ich das Buch und kann es nur empfehlen.
Hoepker war Stern-Fotograf und hat in der DDR gelebt. Viele, viele Jahre. Ich kann sehen, dass er die DDR verstanden hat.
Hätte #KatjaHoyer ihr Buch mit Hoepker-Bildern statt mit Staatspropaganda versehen, wär es unschlagbar gewesen. So haben manche wahrscheinlich beim Öffnen des Buches schon genug.
Für Auskenner*innen: Hoepker war auch bei #Magnum.

Oggi scopro una nuova storia schifosa dall’Internette, che però, mamma mia, fa riderissimo, fa spaccare… non a caso, oserei dire che fa proprio pisciare. Di momento pipì infatti si parla, perché il soggetto della magagna è una certa tizia “Kelli Tedford” che, si è scoperto di recente, per tipo 4 fottuti anni ha pisciato sulle verdure in un negozio dove lavorava, in New Hampshire (stranamente, non si tratta di una “Florida woman” in questo caso… e forse è anche per questo che la notizia non è stata derubricata come avvenimento ordinario). 🤯

La chiamano la “bandita del piscio“, accusata di “pisciamento criminale“ (“criminal pischief“)… e direi che ulteriori spiegazioni sarebbero superflue. A quanto pare, visto che sfortunatamente i video incriminati non si trovano (fidatevi, ho cercato, anche sui siti pirata) — come puntualmente si vede con tutte le persone che non sono semplicemente mentalmente malate e per cui si può dire “povere a loro”, bensì attivamente maligne e dall’anima corrotta — questa avrebbe fatto questa merdata (anzi, pisciata) per soldi… i video in questione pare li vendesse su OnlyFans, infatti. 💀
Boh, è assurdo, è incredibile nel senso letterale del termine! E questo post forse avrei pure evitato di farlo, perché penso che chi spende la propria vita con l’intento di rovinare attivamente quella degli altri non meriti nemmeno di essere riconosciuto come essere esistente nell’universo, però purtroppo stavolta la faccenda mi fa comunque troppo ridere. Vero è che io sono strana al punto che se avessi guardato il reportage durante il pranzo avrei avuto l’appetito addirittura migliorato, anziché rovinato, però pure l’intero contesto fa scompisciare. Pensare che questa cosa è arrivata alla giustizia da qualcuno che ha visto i video malefici e ha fatto una segnalazione anonima alle autorità… casualmente, il giorno di San Valentino! 💣 (Insomma, non l’hanno nemmeno beccata sul fatto; si è fatta beccare con le sue mani, avendo pubblicando online i crimini.)
Non solo, però. Con l’occasione del suo processo in tribunale, Atozy è andato lì nella città pisciata, e ha fatto un video di approfondimento con gli ultimissimi sviluppi della vicenda, tra cui la scoperta che ha pisciato pure sulle robe della stanza di hotel dove è stata (non si sa se ancora per soldi, o puramente per gusto della marachella), e gira voce che negli anni ha fatto pure consegne per DoorDash, pisciando anche su quelle… e quindi probabilmente ci sarà anche l’aggiunta di ulteriori accuse. Potrebbe arrivare a dover spendere 12 anni in carcere! 😻

Ho trovato anche il profilo Instagram (@just.another.badbitch.xoxo), ma su cui non c’è nulla di degno di nota, se non i commenti ai post, dove un sacco di gente fa riferimenti al pisciamento… e quella che pare la sua lista dei desideri Amazon, dove, a parte qualche articolo legato alla produzione digitale di video, ci sono diversi vestiti ambigui e anche numerosi sex toy… con una descrizione “Get me something off this list and get free special customized content! 😍🖤😘 Spoil me to get spoiled baby!“. (Cringe.)
Anche guardando questi post che non centrano niente con le malefatte, comunque, il contesto delle stesse non fa altro che migliorare. In una foto si vede che, sul suo luogo di lavoro, un collega si vestì da furry (“peloso”) per Halloween, e lei da non so cosa… quindi probabilmente lì non si lavorava poi troppo duramente… il che rende solo più grave il fatto che lei pisciasse sul cibo, anziché prendersi il tempo di farlo nel cesso (e sottolineo nel, per favore; non sopra e non sotto, dentro, ti prego!). Invece, su TikTok, ci sono un sacco di video — tutti di 6 anni fa, quindi prima che iniziasse ad essere stronza — dove fa lipsyncing di canzoni con testi del tipo “I am aware that I’m an asshole, I really don’t care” e “I just did a bad thing“… aiuto!
Questo individuo non sembrerebbe poter essere reale… eppure, visto che ora sta sotto processo, purtroppo lo è fin troppo. Qualcuno sicuramente spererà che coloro che le faranno compagnia in carcere possano darle una lezione, pisciandole sul cuscino oppure magari sui piedi, non lo so… ma io ho come il presentimento che a lei sotto sotto non dispiacerebbe, quindi ops. Al contrario, gli altri dovranno abituarsi alla sua necessità di marcare il territorio, che, ne sono sicura, a maggior ragione spunterà fuori nello stress del carcere. 🤷♀️

I kind of agree with you, about the controling aspects of the #FossilFuelLobby. On the other hand, if not for fossil fuel, there would be other lobbies seeking #StateCapture. It is in the #moneyedClass interest to excert as much influence as money can buy after all. Remember the Tabacco Lobbies of yore? Same thing. Today we can also point to the #GamblingIndustry and increasingly #DefenceIndustries.Unfortunately, with power comes #Greed and #Corruption and #TheRich like it that way. All we can do is stay one step behind our #Leaders ensuring we don’t fall too far back. And the only way to do that is through the ballot box, consistent activism and community-led campaigns (including petitions, protest sit-ins/marches and boycotts, etc.).
I’m hopeful that consistent messaging by communities eventually cuts through to polies and that our govt (of whatever ilk) will eventually push back against #Zionism and its growing influence in everyday Australian social life because it is so egregious atm.
Also more peeps ought to have a good long think about it all and take a moral and ethical stand vis a vis #Gaza, #WestBank #Lebanon, etc. not much help if peeps keep watching #FoxFakeNews and similar #Cronies IMO.
In the grand scheme of things, we need to break up #Oligarchies , #Oligopolies and get serious about progressive #TaxReform.

The bit that you skip #93: Gazelle – At last, friend
Many songs tend to remind you of your childhood. Another quantity, perhaps greater, hark back to your teenage days. Then there’s songs that make you think of your early adulthood. The wide eyed rookie days. Wages are minuscule, possibilities are endless, and nothing is written in pen.
After Headlights broke up, I trawled for everything related to the Fein clan. First it was Absinthe Blind and their wondrous space age dreamy rock. Then I went for Ad Fein’s and Jeff Dimpsey’s Peléan eruption of a band, Gazelle. Healthy doses of dream pop and electronica gave us an album that sounded like nothing else. Perhaps what U2 wanted to do with POP, Gazelle did with their only album.
Just as I graduated from Electronics and Telecommunications, I went hogwild into ambient and lounge music. After a stint at Ericsson in Gustavo Baz, which wasn’t too far from my house, I got sent to a communications hub in Polanco in Lago Alberto, where it always smelled like chocolate due to La Holandesa being near. After a couple of weeks, I absconded to another central, a few blocks from Lago Alberto, on Kepler. The disorganised wires, dusty countertops and odd rodents of unusual size on the lower flowers contrasted with the upper floor, where I befriended two people, Chrissie and Alan. We would spent most of the time talking and eating in nearby places than doing much work, since a lot of it was tests that took time and the real crunch was understanding the output, then correcting anything in our means.
I would walk from Metro Polanco to Kepler, a good 2 km walk. The metro trip was brutal, as it was peak hour and you were, as Radiohead bluntly said it once, packt like sardines in a crushd tin pack. I wouldn’t dare to use my cd player as you could barely moved an arm, much less try to adjust volume in a noisy commute. Once out of the metro station, I’d go for a small coffee at a small joint on the way to Kepler’s telephone central. I would listen to any Café del Mar compilation I had ready, or just whatever electronica mix a friend gave me.
Chrissie and Alan eventually had to go back to London and we would meet a couple of times later but no longer as employees for Telcel, but as ex-coworkers. I considered them friends. Alan sadly passed away from cancer a few years later. He was pencil thin, and always smoking, holding his cig in a strange “inside ash” manner. Chrissie I talked to a few times, first after arriving at Nottingham in 2002, then after arriving in Sheffield in 2008. I’ve lost track, as one does with friends in life. It’s not intentional, it’s just something that happens and even if we never meet again, we had good times, like the trip we took to Teotihuacán with one of her friends that speak no English at all and paid my tourist guide with delicious plum candies. Or a strange trip to Acapulco where we barely escaped being on a disco boat that meet a grisly end (no casualties, thankfully).
Gazelle’s At last, friend evokes memories of both Chrissie and Mark. Chrissie usually went as “Chwissy” as a joke, and Alan…well, his devil-may-care attitude was always juxtaposed with an encyclopedic knowledge of telecommunications. The song also reminds me of my first days in Nottingham, wandering through town aimlessly. In fact, a few songs that have effect on me. I don’t think I’ll ever have that wide-eye feeling again. But nothing is written in pen. That never changes, though.
