  1. Came in late. Got caught up thanks to Wikipedia.

Have to say, if I saw someone beating a kitten I'd make them fall down a set of stairs too.

  3. I'm unusually excited at this moment because "The Killer Shrews" is about to come on #TCM

This is a 1950s horror movie with a good premise. During a major storm, tiny experimental subjects, but mutated into large killers, escape a lab.

All this is great, but it's then brought down by the special effects for the creatures, which are small dogs in shaggy carpet costumes. 🐶

    Here we go!! 🍿

  5. The night club singer is Shizuko Kasagi AKA “The Queen of Boogie”. She totally changed the game for jazz in Japan, especially as a single mom working in entertainment. You can hear more of her music here (youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK)

  6. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure getting yelled at by an angry & disappointed, middle aged, Japanese doctor was the equivalent of high quality therapy back then

  13. Just going to assume that this wasn’t part of the script and Vincent Price was actually just preparing a chicken but then the director called “Rolling” and being a consummate professional he went with it

  14. Pointy Little Hat™️ was the 1950s equivalent of “Would you still love me if I was a worm?”

  16. Here for His Kind of Woman on #NoirAlley

It's my kind of noir-comedy-suspense-crime-something that has Vincent Price.
