Tengo un compañere de trabajo que trabaja muy bien pero en modo pausa, sin involucrarse mucho ni tomar la iniciativa, rechaza meterse en solitario en proyectos complejos, prefiere no presentar, etc. Ayer me enteré que es básicamente, porque lleva un tiempo queriendo subir de categoría y no lo hacen. Su respuesta consciente es trabajar al nivel de la categoría que tiene.

Hoy que es el #DíaDelHombre me gustaría contar una anécdota. Hará hace un año, o año y medio, mi hermano me sorprendió muchísimo al preguntarme si podía darme un abrazo.
Después de casi 30 años creciendo juntos, creo que sólo recuerdo dos o tres ocasiones en las que nos hayamos abrazado. Ni siquiera cuando falleció mi última abuela, por ejemplo.
No os cuento esto para decir que qué mal hermano, ni qué mal nos llevamos. Os cuento esto porque ejemplifica claramente el tipo de masculinidad en el que nos han educado a ambos. Y creo que es muy necesario hablar de ello todos los días (pero más este día).
Necesitamos una masculinidad en la que nos podamos abrazar para apoyarnos y demostrarnos afecto. Entre hermanos y entre amigos. Sin que a nadie le parezca extraño.

Wie gut #Parkraumbewirtschaftung funktioniert um den Autoverkehr zu senken, sehe ich in meinem Stadtteil. Es ist zwar nur #Anekdata, keine Statistik, aber seit hier Parken 4 €/h kostet, nehmen Bekannte von mir lieber den #ÖPNV oder das #Fahrrad.
Zweitwagen ist somit auch ohne Geldgeschenke unattraktiv, denn #Bewohnerparkausweis gibt es pro Person nur einen und nur für eine Parkzone. Parken kostet ohne den Ausweis 312 €/Woche.

However, basically, the #ChiefTwit is a liar, and I’m not going to buy something as expensive as an automobile from a liar, much less pay $200/month for so-called Full Self Driving.
Much like Trump, he proves over and over again that he is not worthy of our trust, our respect, or our money.

Noticing v. anecdotally - in #academia - how quickly 'n often monoligual speakers of English in my #UK context go on the defensive (in their tone of voice - a mix of sarcasm/affront) when presented with non-English sources and references: eg. 'would be nice to have an English plug-in for that!' or 'not all of us are multilingual' and 'I don't feel this is a very inclusive space'.
