@SteveInVentura The “guillotine frunk” story strikes me as anecdotal, since fingers are going to suffer injury from most hoods closing on them.
However, basically, the #ChiefTwit is a liar, and I’m not going to buy something as expensive as an automobile from a liar, much less pay $200/month for so-called Full Self Driving.
Much like Trump, he proves over and over again that he is not worthy of our trust, our respect, or our money.

Love the idea of whole home battery backup, but can’t currently justify the cost of that, plus solar. We don’t qualify for any incentives either. 😬
Did you find the powerwall technology to be the only option?
I’d really have trouble trusting the #ChiefTwit with being truthful about anything these days.

@dan @adrianco if you mean from the #ChiefTwit, I can’t bring myself to go that route. I’ll pay more if I have to.
But the two easiest purchases I’ve ever made are from Volkswagen of Tyson’s Corner in Virginia (DC area) in 2003, where the young sales representative was not pushy, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with, and Mercedes-Benz of downtown Los Angeles, where I dealt only with the internet sales team in 2006.

@John I completely understand the logic behind #Threads, and for #Meta, it was probably the right “business decision”, to capitalize on the trials and tribulations of the #ChiefTwit and his bad business decisions.
That said, the idea that Threads could be real threat to the 🐦 💩 without any DM capability seems absurd. 🤷♂️

The subscription model is what he’s had in mind for #Tesla all along, just like HP Printers: sell the printer at a loss, or for zero profit, but make 80% profit on the ink tank sales.
