#SpaceKaren (Aka Elon Musk) seems to have #opensourced "the-algorithm" of Twitter.
They claim in a blog post it's for transparency... But imo is this just yet another shitty attempt at saving costs.

Because how can you make improvements to code while saving money? You throw it at the open-source community for free labor, that's how!

Like, if it was any other company, I would believe them trying to be more transparent. But this is #Twitter we're talking about here. They have money issues, Elon fired too many devs and the algo is really shit at its job (I legit got the same tweet of an account I follow 3 times in one scroll (Meaning I didn't refresh or reload the timeline). That's bad) and now all of a sudden it's OS? That's too convenient for a coincidence.
