Some info about Brazilian elections:

1- It is mandatory. All citizens over 18 and under 70 must vote or tell the government why they couldn't after the election. People 16 and 17 or over 70 can choose to vote or not

2- It is always on a Sunday

3- There is no mail voting

4- The system is controlled federally. There is a special section of the judiciary branch that controls it
