Such an interesting question: “NHS Trusts have found the claims [made re the benefits of Palantir’s software] often to be unsubstantiated & as such the regulator now wants to know how & why NHSE made such claims in the first place.”
Is it some kind of systemic failure or more prosaic bribery &/or corruption? What are the remedies or penalties? Did someone/s benefit in some way or was there a collective fantasy? Did a spreadsheet go rogue or were numbers missing or not known or not included in cost-benefit calculations? Could lead to potential for beneficial learning & preventive future actions. You can learn a lot from system failures. 🤔
