Council seats:
🔴 Labour: 51 (+4)
🔵 Conservatives: 8 (+1)
⚫ Independents: 1 (-5)Labour HOLD.
The Independents were councillors who'd quit Labour over 'bullying and misogyny' in the group and in support of independent mayoral candidate Jamie Driscoll. They ran a 'Community Independents' slate in the election.
