THE MAGIC of #PreferentialVoting.

Australia has preferential voting so a person can make their #vote transfer to another candidate at FULL VALUE.

We just tallied quotas of minor parties that were good enough to be placed ahead of #majorParties and Greens.

The quota was exceeded in EVERY state!

So if everyone who voted for quality #minorParties numbered as many quality parties as they could, we'd have 12 #independent minorParty #Senate member in parliment.

Most #Australians remember the frenzied cacophony of #legacyMedia hacks that emerged from the election of Ricky Muir.

So-called "progressive" outlets lampooned our democratic process that ensured votes for #minorParties were never wasted (unlike in the #USA). A process that enabled people like the once-relevant #NickXenophon to get elected.

They #engineeredConsent to change our #votingSystem, at every opportunity demonising the workingClass senator.

Maybe if he called himself 'Richard'???

WARNING: #Elections in #SouthAustralia rigged against #minorParties.

They've had 4 yrs to fix this. Noone at the #ElectoralCommision (#ECSA) has fixed #misleading instructions that caused 70,000 #votes for minorParties to be binned.

If you vote for a #minorParty you *must* number as many above-the-line as possible. Following their top instruction and numbering one party, means your vote is #wasted if that party doesn't get in.

Remembering when we could easily vote for a minor party because all parties needed to disclose a full voting preferences, and #minorParties were not served by dotCon artists.

Even if they don't have #minorParties, they are still doing better than the USA the USA don't really do minor parties, and they have 330 million people and military bases #sharted across the globe, so…

Good thought. Keep in mind that producers in the #corporateMedia in #Australia are known to pull (read:#censor) #commercials and #messages of #minorParties, citing "#QualityConcerns"

#Murdoch #reporters have been completely #corrupted by #bigRealEstate, #mining, #insurance interests, who buy a lot of #advertising due to #artificiallyInflated #assetPrices.

Building an #alternativeMedia is important.
