    I've added #spirulina, which tends to bake up into a brown colour which looks good in a rye loaf. Plus it has lots of nutritional value apparently, so that's nice too.

    A bit experimental, exploring the thing I did a few months ago with a #spirulina addition. Results in an interesting brown result, though it's rather green before baking.

  16. So before lunch I got two items together for making my dark bread (see up-thread).

    The #beet purée was great fun. Super ruby red to start, then a nice dark colour with the #spirulina added and into the flour.

    This is going to be a fun dark pumpernickel loaf!
