I really enjoyed painting this little watercolour, building up the image with dots of colour.
I enjoyed the process of painting it, and I’m pleased with the dappled, expressive effect that this style of working created.

Alone on the slope of the #Mountain, it grew,
& bathed its light tresses in #Glittering #Dew
The #Bird on its boughs lingered loving & long,
And the #Stream at its feet ever murmured in #Song
It toyed with the #Winds, it was #Happy & #Free;
