A dog missing for nearly three weeks, has been rescued in the #LakeDistrict.
Teddy went missing on the 2nd August after disappearing on Helvellyn.
On Friday (21st August) volunteers were out searching for him, when they heard Teddy barking from Dry Gill.

The #LakeDistrict hill Whitbarrow (which means white hill) is a limestone plateau which looks like an escapee from the Yorkshire Dales. Never underestimate how much water you need on a hard climb especially in hot weather. In this case walkers had to be rescued after running out of water on Scafell Pike in the #LakeDistrict.

We were reading, as we do, the most recent reports from the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team and, despite this now being the summer, we noticed three recent incidents where walkers were caught out by the weather.
