  1. Don’t let art die in Turbat

Written by Muhammad Naseer It is deeply disappointing that in a big, developed and educated city like Turbat, there is not a single drawing academy. Art is no longer just a hobby. In today’s generation, it is a great field and a promising career option. Studen…

  2. I love this field, but I'm also finding that you can use it as a base for adding things on the horizon to creep people out. Sometimes Photoshop is a bad thing. #landscape #photo #photography #field #infrared #ir #720project #nature #creepy

  4. Nine years ago today, I took my first photo in the English county of Suffolk where for the past nine years most of my work has been based around there. As I said before, I plan on going back to this spot in 2027 for a comparison photoshoot.

  5. This is a shame for me personally because I do not do fieldwork in one of those particular national contexts where there is enough government money floating around in rescue archaeology to finance good software.

And a shame academically and pedagogically because I would love to be able to train students at university in some common open source base software that they could then go use in many different areas of work (as we can now do with #QGIS).

I hope that #Field will break the pattern!

I've been keeping notes on this niche but developing field for some years, and thought others might find them useful. I'd be interested to know if I missed any.

I would like to replace my ad hoc, #QGIS-based field recording system with one of these in the near future. Probably @dai_weltweit's #Field
