/world do you want. In #shadowrun we had a lowtech gang and a pirate campaign. In #hunter I wrote an hurt spirit in a small USA town. In my own rpg #MAGUN i let my players be conquered nobels leading a rebellion in the region. In #DnD I liked the „beyond the wichlight” book. (My only campaign I did not wrote by my self) and I liked the #bandofblades campaign (I was player here). We played a more regional mod. -

In unserem aktuellen Shadowrun-Abenteuer gab es einen NPC-Tod, der doch arg "death by plot" war, wie meine Spielenden anmerkten. Überfall von Ghulen bei einem Zwischenstop, die sehr mütterliche Fahrerin ist alleine am Hovercraft.
Während ich noch ihren epischen last Stand beschreibe, hat unsere Schamanin einen Geist mit Geschwindigkeits-Kraft beschworen und alle laufen die 200m entspannt runter.
Im Abenteuer (Schwere Fracht) steht, dass sie dann eben einen Herzinfarkt erleidet - habe die Szene nicht gut vorbereitet und hatte keine Alternative im Kopf.
Nächstes Mal wird sie wohl als Ghul im Frachtraum aufwachen, um die Gruppe ein bisschen mehr emotional an den Haken zu bringen, denn bald gilt es, sie zu verraten oder gegen eine Übermacht anzutreten 😏

And then there is the question what happens if someone without a SIN gets arrested. They might issue you like a SIN, just so that they can create a criminal record.
Or if you end up in the hands of a rent-a-cop (Lone Star) they might just have you disappear because you never (legally) existed in the first place, though then they couldn't charge the authorities for locking you up. Depends whether they want to fill out the paperwork. #Shadowrun -

In my head-canon, SINless never had a SIN.
Maybe they entered the UCAS illegally, or their birth was never registered (maybe because their parents don't have a SIN).
Sure and then are those who pay a Decker to hack into government databases to delete any records that they ever existed for various reasons (e.g. to get rid of a criminal record). -

The game is called #Shadowrun.
It was created by Robert N. Charrette, Paul Hume, Tom Dowd, Jordan Weisman and others.
I don't know who came up with the term SINless or if any of them were actually have Canadian roots, but the original setting and lore focuses heavily on the Seattle sprawl (close to Vancouver) and in-game the US had split into CAS (Confederate American States), UCAS (United Canadian and American States) and several smaller nations. -

I’ve GM a #Shadowrun table for years with a set of original campaigns I wrote. Balance the rotating cast with the needs of the plot and giving every character a chance to shine. Love it. I backed Anarchy 2.0 on Kickstarter and can’t wait for the physical copy to get here.
I tend to run my tables with ‘the rule of cool’ which is that I am more concerned about things being fun than what the crunch of the dice and rules say.

When I found my old Shadowrun stories, one of them was unfinished. I've been working on finishing it, because that's a matter of some importance.
My good friend played a character with a horrible, traumatic backstory. She played him absolutely brilliantly, and it was always her intention to play him through to the best recovery it was possible for him to make. She died before that happened.
I owe it to her to finish his story on a happy note.

Well, call me crazy if you want to, but trying to finally get myself into #Harnmaster (as, into the rules as opposed to the setting) I feel like it's really not as complex as people make it out to be. Sure, it's crunchy, and very simulationist, but if I compare it to, say... #Shadowrun, #DSA, or even just #ADnD it feels like a walk in the park.

Wir haben Samstag das erste Kapitel der Shadowrun Kampagne "Getrübter Blick" (Erstellerin: Ich. Laufend.) beendet. Ging 3 Sessions, also insgesamt ca. 8 Stunden.
Ich glaube den Leuten hat es Spaß gemacht. Bei Bedarf erzähle ich gerne immer Mal wieder was darüber.
