A question for the writers:

What do you do when you start to doubt your narration?

An explainer: my work is in third person, and I'm mostly following one character around. Sometimes I find myself limiting the narration to only what they can see / hear / experience, and it's at this point that I think: 'I can be freer than this with narration. I don't need to see the world solely through their eyes.'

But snapping out of that is difficult.

Well my #nanowrimo is done and I finished with 12,920 words :facepalm:

HOWEVER I did manage to write everyday apart from three where either I or the kids were ill, which is progress.

My plan going in was to aim to use the month to set up a more sustainable writing process, and that's my challenge going forward - maintaining it despite the chaos of life
