Yesterday, I went on an 8.7 mile hike, gaining +1,700 feet of altitude. At the moment I topped the ridge, I encountered an unexpected and gorgeous view. Gratitude.
I finished that hike, returned home, and finished editing a short chapter. Satisfaction.

Even when young, I was an old soul. Was it growing up too fast, while also not growing up at all? Hard to say.
Unlike my much older siblings, I grew-up with Star Trek, and loved it, yet a part of me adored old films, which were readily available.
The result is, to me, classic tales with contemporary subject matter. It sounds like an odd mix, I suppose, but I love them.
