ARCC has grave concerns regarding the city of #LondonOntario proposed by-law entitled “Advocacy Message Sign By-law”. In 2022, city staff were directed to draft a by-law to regulate public display of graphic images.
Instead, the proposed by-law is overbroad & does nothing to address the public display of graphic, anti-abortion images. It targets the display of all “non-commercial, portable, temporary “advocacy Message Signs,” A.K.A protest, demonstration signs.
