Originally I was going from #YXU (London, ON) to #YYZ (Toronto) then on to PIT (Pittsburgh). Flight from YYZ to #Pittsburg was cancelled. 👎
Instead, I’m still going from YXU to YYZ tonight l, overnighting, then tomorrow YYZ to #YUL (Montreal) and finally YUL to PIT.
I might actually make the wedding I’m supposed to go to tomorrow night 🤷♂️

@kvl Haha yeah. It is a good idea to revisit after 15 years of experience though.
I rarely use hashtags on Twitter anyway. Like, I’m not excitedly clicking #book to find strangers who talked about a book. They’re only good for events and local stuff (to the extent they’re not hijacked). Chaos is a rational choice.

@kvl I can see the benefits of #yxu, but I always lean toward a solution that’s easily readable by humans inside and outside the city, without having to Google it. #ldnont isn’t perfect in that regard either, but I’ve lived here most of my life and would have to look up the airport code. Sometimes I see airport hashtags from Regina or something and have to think, is that London’s? If not, which city is it? Guess I’ll go look it up and completely forget what the tweet was even about.
