I'm looking for the datasheet and the reference manual for the Microtec-Switchtec "PCI1005" PCIe-Switch [1]:

It can be readily bought from DigiKey[2] and Mouser[3]. However, all links to "datasheets" just go to the sell sheet [1], which I'm not interested in, because… d'uh.

I'm a #neuroqueer #transfem PhD #catgirl researcher in music sociology (qualitative social research but also a bit of quantitative). My research interests (among others) are #clubculture , #electronicdancemusic , #queerstudies / #transstudies / #genderstudies and I'm certified #nerdy on my field of research, still doing cultural work here and there. Apart from wasting time on paid work, I try to focus exclusively on my PhD and queer/trans* community work.

Reading theory gets me excited, reading manuals doesn't. Love/hate THT, SMD, µC. I'm #aroace but interested in certain kinks … also gladly providing tlc for lab gear, vintage studio electronics, synths, drum machines, obsolete media.

Hmm … what else? I do #HRT and occasionally waste time keeping hosted FOSS software up & running. Albeit having a graphic design background I prefer shells to GUIs, had my first CCC meetup at #34c3 and, unsurprisingly, I dislike Big Tech/platform/surveillance capitalism. I'm genuinely and diagnosed autistic, small talk isn't my cup of tea but, hmu on bespoke topics and you'll get properly infodumped … hehe.

Once you start looking for it, you'll be surprised at just how many "features we're bragging about" on electronic component datasheets for ICs boil down to "we put a capacitor across this input".

Possibly the most useless data sheet I have seen. Missing half the dimensions you need. Foot print pads lacking sizes. And forgetting to mention you need a cut out in the PCB itself as this is an RJ45 that sits *in* the PCB for extra low profile (nice, but document it!).

Managed to #OpenSCAD a 3D model and work out a footprint with cut out, finally, thanks to drawing being to scale.

Нашел один лайфхак как искать #datasheet контроллера этой компании, но и он не сработал. Еще смущают контактные площадки в правом углу МК... Это #ground или #rx_tx ?
Есть выводы 5V и GND в нижней части печатной платы, прозванивал выводы на МК и пометил для себя на картинке.
В нижнем колонтитуле даташита написано: Confidential

Trying to understand a datasheet of a NTC, Murata NXFT15XH103FEAB021. They specify the beta/B value, very good, I understand how to calculate temperature / resistance with it.

But they also mention other B-Constants as "Reference Values" for different temperature ranges. I don't understand what they want to tell me with them. Can anyone explain?

It's marked as AM330, from the Chinese company Amicro Semiconductor. The website has no info, but it seems to be a #microcontroller for navigation.

Makes sense, I found it inside a #robot #vacuum, OEM model KK320.

I'd like to reprogram the robot, but I need to know at least the pinout. Help, Fedi!
