Se supone que la comunidad LGBT se trata de diversidad. Superamos temas como la aceptación de orientaciones sexuales diversas en muchos países (aunque la lucha sigue en otros, como el mío Venezuela), pero otros siguen "en pañales".

La expresión de género y la disforia por ejemplo, tienen niveles y manifestaciones distintas, pero existe aún una mentalidad que limita e invalida a muchas personas. Sobre todo en asuntos como la transición física y hormonal, más allá de lo social.

Checking in because I know a lot of DIY hrt sellers in the EU have been going down or things have been happening with them that seem suspicious.

Does anyone know any good EU sellers?

In particular I have been looking for sellers selling estrogen in the powdered form for long life safe keeping but cannot find any. Does anyone know any sources?

I'd actually prefer to share it publically, because then more people can potentially benefit from the info :trans_heart:

My experience with prog: slept like, 12h+ for the first couple of days, horny-brain for like a week before it normalized to a level that feels “right”. Libido is far more reactive than before to external influences though :blobcatthink:

It's also improved my sleep, I can nap for the first time in life oh and ...tiddies be bigger :3

Does anyone have experience with estrogen + progesterone for mtf hrt? My doc said it is available to me, and I am wondering what your experiences are. What effect did it have on your body and/or mind?

I know it causes breasts to develop more. I am quite happy with my breasts as is (although I wouldn't mind growth either), so I am not sure if just breast development and nothing more is worth it for me.

How are healthcare times up there anyway? I am 7 months out from my first HRT appointment, and still no functional prescription, so, hopefully better than that, at least.

My psych referral was rejected, not even sure what that means or who does it. Was too tired of it all to even ask my doc.

Given it is regularly monitored and the predominance of vitamin D deficiency among the general populace, it “feels” like a common sense, low-cost measure to ensure the best possible outcomes for the patient.

I'd say “maybe it's because it's preventative” or “insurance is trying to save money!” but both of those arguments fail when an ideal patient outcome can be significantly cheaper for whoever is funding it.

And honestly, considering the ridiculous amount of superfluous and unnecessary, repetitive and often outright degrading amount of “testing” trans people undergo by default... why can't we have one that's generally good for public health? And might even (potentially) improve transition outcomes?

It's like a universal win, refused to be accepted by regulators, “experts” and just, the people in power 🙃

Okay so vitamin D has been somewhat proven to be important in the production process of estrogen for cis women.

Still, we have effectively zero research on trans women, despite knowing that the overwhelming majority is effectively vitamin D deficient.

Is it such a stretch to hypothesize that vitamin D might not just be important in the production, but also the absorption and/or metabolization of estrogen in general?

Obviously research, just in general is desperately needed here, it just boggles the mind that this isn't tested for more, or a precautionary part of feminising gender-affirming care.

I'm ordering raw E powder, 1 gram of it. I'm on x2 100mcg patches twice weekly.

So 200mcg per dose twice weekly is obviously 400mcg per week, which works out a 1.6mg a month and 19.2mg a year.

If I order 1g of Estradiol Valerate... That's 1000mg, so... I'd have 50 years worth of powder? That sounds wrong. But then a mcg is tiny. Halp!

Phytoestrogenic plants are a group that synthesizes chemicals mimicking the biological activity of mammalian estrogen. They may offer an accessible hormone replacement therapy substitute for menopause and (potentially) trans women.
