For the most part, I am a serious advocate for the US adopting SI units. I've traveled all over, lived abroad and dealing with meters and kilometers and so on was really not a problem.
However, I do like Fahrenheit for temperature -- Celsius makes scientific sense, but humans just don't deal with negative numbers well, and so many live in places where part of the year you have negative temperatures. With Fahrenheit, most of humanity could express every temperature they encounter with a positive 2-digit number.

My partner and I saw Metric (with Stars and Broken Social Scene 🇨🇦) in San Francisco last night!
It was somehow my first time seeing Metric live in the 17+ years I’ve been a fan. This was my partner’s 3rd time (we have compatible music taste).
The show also made me want to rewatch Scott Pilgrim vs The World (2010) because they played Black Sheep.
