Maybe I'm just so done with *gestures vaguely* that being a bit petty will blow off steam, but honestly? Americans use metric. We use whatever is useful. Which really begs the question: if metric is so great, then why wouldn't we use it for everything?

These weird C-clamps are super weak. I googled the manufacturers "#Starrett, #BrownAndSharpe, #Mitutoyo and #Lufkin" and they aren't even known for making clamps! And these clocks aren't running, but even if they did it looks like some kind of #metric time. Useless.

At least there's some #Craftsman in the lot.

I was thinking maybe you guys have a metric equivalent to describing wheel sizes. ❔

Here in the #Philippines we use both 📏 systems. We normally measure our weight in lbs, the weight of food in grams and kgs, speed in kph and distances in km... wheel size in inches. We adopt everything from everywhere, I guess. 🤷‍♀️
