  1. “Reform[UK]’s £645,000 ‘Ghost’ Pollster”

    by Josiah Mortimer and Max Colbert in The Byline Times

    @BylineTimes

    “Reform and its predecessor party spent over £645,000 on polling and canvassing work from an anonymous sole trader going by the name ‘COR Research’.

    COR Research, which worked for the Brexit Party in 2019 and for Reform UK in 2024, has no Companies House entry, no social media presence, and ten key invoices are missing on the Electoral Commission website – something Reform UK has been criticised for by the elections watchdog”

    EDIT: Pidätetty on vapautettu, eikä häntä enää epäillä.

    Kun BBC World kertoi tästä, kerrottiin myös, että #AnnWiddercombe oli #äärikonservatiivi.

    Esim. rikollisia pitäisi edelleen hirttää, vastusti aborttia, oli #ilmastodenialisti ja varma, että joskus vielä löytyy parannuskeino homouteen.

    Niin sakea muia, että sai jopa toryistä fudut ja liittyi #Farage n joukkoihin.

  3. “Farage, Johnson, and Harborne accused of rigging the 2019 general election”

    by Another Angry Voice on Substack

    @uk_politics

    “In the wake of the revelation that Nigel #Farage received an undisclosed political donation of £5 million from the Thailand-based crypto billionaire Christopher #Harborne, the former Brexit Party MEP Ben #Habib has made extraordinary allegations of corruption.

    Habib claims that there was a deal between Nigel Farage, Christopher Harborne, and Boris #Johnson to rig the 2019 general election”

    12/ #ReformUK: Runcorn and Helsby by-election, 1 May 2025.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Run

    Reform UK was founded in 2018 as the #BrexitParty, and was renamed Reform UK in January 2021. Its first MP came in 2024 as a defector from the Conservatives. At the July 2024 election, four MPs were elected as Reform UK candidates. Sarah Pochin's victory by 6 votes in Runcorn was the party's first by-election gain.

  5. As with past culture wars, we’re once more seeing establishment figures, such as the multi-millionaire #RichardTice, former #BrexitParty leader #NigelFarage and #Conservative peer, #JacobReesMogg among other ghouls of the right corral the legitimate concerns of those lower on the socio-economic ladder and harness them to their own increasingly apocalyptic ends.

  6. Why is Alexandra Phillips not in jail in Kenya? She got paid a fortune to interfere with their election whilst ordinary Kenyans struggle to feed themselves. She then abuses them if they try to find a better life elsewhere.

  8. #Corporatist #BorisJohnson just told #HongKong residents that he'll be ready to poach 3 million of their #workers. This is how much faith BJ has in his #UK citizens.

    It took about 30 mins for us to see though Boris' phony messaging in the 2020 #UKelection. Do UK citizens have the intelligence of #chlorinatedChicken?

    US #millenials are looking quite a bit smarter than #UK #boomers these days.

    Oh boy, #BrexitParty don't look good at all. #CleanBreakBrexit seems to be their catch cry. They seem more interested in reducing #tariffs and introducing more #freeTrade than actually protecting #workers. They seem to want to #lowerTaxes on #wealthy and boost #militarySpending.

    Really?!

    On the other hand, #UKIP seem more genuinely concerned for the #workingClass. They're not as polished in their presentation, though.

    We are only half way through our reading on both parties.

    ...#BrexitParty actually saying on these topics. You may not trust them but that's a different matter. We don't fully trust anyone. We may examine them ourselves.

    Agree some will be worse off, but in relative terms those who do actual #productive work should gain over #speculators.

    #HelpToBuy must go too, for example.

    BJ threatening to bring in #carcinogenic #food from t #USA should mobilise #Britons to reject him fully - he wants #Brexit to fail.

    The #wealthy in London have been working overtime to redefine #WhatBrexitActuallyMeans. The whole #chlorinatedChicken, #US food debacle, and #NHS #fearMongering are a #redHerring and #falseChoice.

    Farage wasn't supposed to win. He stepped down to allow the #BBC to ask on a daily basis, "but what does Brexit actually mean?" Its not about chicken. It was about lowering immigration to sensible numbers. #Britons are being misdirected.

    #UKIP or #BrexitParty may be more genuine but unsure.

  12. @schestowitz
    Hi Dr Roy,

    We can't stand #BorisJohnson and his phony #Brexit. We liked #Corbyn but he seems to be dithering and pandering to the #neoliberals in his party too much.

    What are #UKIP and #BrexitParty proposing? Do either of those parties have a responsible plan to reduce the number of people coming to #UK the sensible, and #sustainable levels?

    In 2016 #NigelFarage did have some surprisingly sensible suggestions, its a shame he stepped down following the #referendum.
