2- how about in other parts of the world? not a perfect fit in Canada, are these generational terms relevant at all in other countries/regions?
My problem with the video is that none of this ever had much to do with my life, while I thought it was very weird I'd be considered in the same generation as people old enough to be my parents (though my actual partnes were a bit older)! I never 'jonesed' for any other generation's opportunities etc.

Vandaag help ik mijn 80-jarige vader met het uitzoeken van een Linux computer. Ik zal hem een beetje helpen met overstappen van Windows. Ja, een Linux computer, want je geeft Linux een eerlijke kans op hardware die goed werkt met het OS. Dat zou je ook doen met Windows of MacOS. Ondertussen zie ik “digital natives” dwepen met hun Macbooks, ouderen grappend uitmakend voor #boomers, terwijl ze vaak niet weten waar hun harde schijf ophoudt en de cloud begint😀.

This article is about the anticipated wealth transfer from Boomers (like me, who currently range in age from 62 to 80) to their family members (&/or to charities) after they die.

I'm generation skipping because my son turned out to be an ungrateful SOB. So, I currently plan to transfer all of my $/assets to my 2 grandchildren but, if they turn out to be ungrateful SOBs too, I'll give it all to charity.

I don't feel like I owe any of them anything & I don't want them to know how much $ they're likely to receive because I don't want that knowleege to affect how they relate & treat me before I die.

All I'd like to get some unsolicited attention & respect from them as their grandfather &, if I get that, they'll get the $. Otherwise not!
