@tizilogic I’ll take that to be a rhetorical question or a form of sarcasm aimed at the #AISlop industry. I on the other hand can think of many practical uses for such infrastructure, none of which include #LLM #GenAISlop hosting.
PS. It is worth noting that #ComputingInfrastructure has a limited number of years for #ROI (as short as five years) before it is superceded by cheaper, faster, better technology. I cannot see #TechBros achieving anything near the #profits requried to pay for all their *gear* within such a short time frame. They will bleed #cash and #crash before those 5 years are out IMHO — maybe a little longer if financial #markets find other ways to hide the accumulating #debt with some new *derivatives* clever enough to dupe #finance #speculators and the financial #press.

There are cases in which removing the #tree is necessary, but too many times its an overzealous #treefeller that exaggerates risks.We used to respect tree fellers but its getting more difficult.
Also #privateEquity firms and #speculators with more money than sense raze all #trees and shrubs on a block, leaving it vacant and #baronLand for literally decades.
In this instance, though, a lean towards the house, *maybe* it was justified.
If other trees in proximity, might be okay too.

Extreme levels of #immigration always favours the extremely wealthy.More local #consumers to sell to and lower wages, its a win-win for the #corporates. In #Australia, we typically had #GerryHarvey, #RealEstate moguls and #BigConstruction, #speculators and #universities pining for extreme numbers of people to be pumped in.
Whether by bombing their country (aka so-called #PushFactors) or #PullFactors like our "WorldClass" #coffeeshops and glass-and-steel living styles.
