Ich finde es immer wieder spannend, wie unterschiedlich die Verpflegung bei Veranstaltungen ist.
Von "nur #vegetarisch mit #vegan|er Option" über "Fleisch und vegetarisch nebeneinander" bis hin zu "Fleisch, vegetarisch auf Anfrage". Und da sind Kriterien wie #bio #Fairtrade, halal, glutenfrei etc noch nicht mitgedacht.
Bei Getränken ebenso, von "nur Bio,, teils Säfte", über "Fritz-Limo" hin zu "Coca-Cola-Company".
Sagt viel über den Veranstalter und die Zielgruppe aus.

@alex_w Auch gerne alle 3, wenn auch das #FairTrade Siegel ein Unternehmenstrick wie so viele andere #arbeitenbeidenguten - NGOs ist. Direkthandel zwischen basisdemokratischen Kollektivbetrieben ohne abschöpfende Zwischenhändler wäre die bessere Option. Regional hat für mich daher in dieser festgelegten Auswahl die meisten Punkte, weil es wegen der Transportwege gleichzeitig ökologischen Mehrwert bietet.

Far too many Democrats I know embrace free trade as if they learned absolutely nothing from the economic disaster that was NAFTA and numerous other "free" trade agreements that exploited foreign workforces and killed off American manufacturing and production, not to mention only growing our global environmental disaster. Some are feeling even more emboldened due to Trump's paleoconservative approach to tariffs.
I'm no protectionist but I stand with organized labor against the majority of these agreements that only serve to enrich the already wealthiest corporations.

Do you buy bananas online from Woolworths in New Zealand? Their listing for "Fresh Fruit Bananas Yellow" specifies that they're Rainforest Alliance bananas. In Woodworths's description, they say:
Rainforest Alliance is an international non-profit organization working at the intersection of business, agriculture, and forests to make responsible business the new normal. Aims to protect forests, improve the livelihoods of farmers and forest communities, promote their human rights, and help them mitigate and adapt to the climate crisis. The Rainforest Alliance certification seal means that the product (or a specified ingredient) was produced by farmers, foresters, and/or companies working together to create a world where people and nature thrive in harmony.

Unfortunately, the bananas they actually delivered were Bonita bananas. I tried to find evidence that Bonita was Rainforest Alliance certified, but could find none, so I strongly suspect they aren't. To Woolworths's credit, when I complained, they did agree to give me a refund for the bananas.
But this isn't the first time this has happened. I took the precaution of specifying in the notes in my order that the only acceptable substitute for Rainforest Alliance bananas would be Fair Trade bananas, but in the end, the substitution wasn't even marked as a substitution on my packing slip.
If you've ordered fresh yellow bananas online from Woolworths in Aotearoa recently, and they gave you Bonita bananas instead of Rainforest Alliance ones, I recommend you ask for a refund. If enough people do this, they might stop this substitution.
