Today I went to visit Gigrin Farm, #RedKite Feeding centre in Powys, #Wales. It's been on my list for ages and I am so glad I went. Facilities are great and you get a really good view of the kite feeding, whether you're in hides or in the viewing field. These are wild birds BTW and the species was in danger in the 90s. The RSPB asked this farm to keep feeding the birds. There are a lot more of these beautiful raptors across the UK now.
The video gives you an idea of the immediate chaotic display when the of ending occurs but you can see a lot of kites at any time really.(Added CW)

At one point, all whirling over the same field together!
I guess it's the raptor equivalent of a salmon run. A hay cut drives out mice and rodents. So they learnt to follow the tractors 🦅🚜
