I keep accidentally reading George Will pieces in the Washington Post.
They always start out the same, somewhat neutral to draw you in, and then they turn asinine, usually before the halfway mark. At which point I'm like "who wrote this?" and then I scroll to the bottom to see the author bio and realize that, once again, I had accidentally clicked on another George Will clusterfuck. Every time.
You have to love consistency!

Your account has to be 3 MONTHS old before you can make a comment about current events.
/r/News and the other news subreddits ( discussion groups ) big enough to get traffic worth bothering with will remove your posts, not tell you, and it will look like your posts have not been removed.
They will claim that is to protect themselves from spam, but it is part of the weasely culture the admins helped establish in the way they handle spam.
To find this out you have to dig deep into a wiki or contact the /r/News mods who will be rude about it, expecting you to have dug deep into their Wiki.
