"Carol" is a song written and recorded by #ChuckBerry, first released by #ChessRecords in 1958, with "Hey Pedro" as the B-side. The single reached number 18 on Billboard's Hot 100 and number 12 on the magazine's #RAndBChart. In 1959, it was included on his first compilation album, #BerryIsOnTop. Berry employs his well-known guitar figure, which #AllMusic critic Matthew Greenwald describes as "a guitar lick that indeed propelled not just Berry's greatest works.

IMHO #Michigan-based #AllMusic has great writers, great content, and comprehensive coverage of almost every album released from the Paleolithic until now (with the notable exception of #BryanAdams LOL). But the web interface has been notoriously awful, often unusable. The most recent update appears to be a slight improvement. Not sure if it's enough.
