  5. "Slow Down" is a #rockAndRoll song written and performed by #LarryWilliams. Recorded in 1957, #AllMusic writer Stewart Mason describes it as "raucous enough to be #punkRock nearly a full two decades before the concept was even in existence." #SpecialtyRecords released it as a single in 1958, but only the second-side "#DizzyMissLizzy" reached the record charts. Both songs were later covered by #theBeatles.

  11. Yes, the Internets' unsung hero of in-depth music biographies and reviews initially existed as a paperback. This is the second edition published in 1992, which I bought used at a bookstore in 1996 — was already familiar with the website (launched in 1994). #AllMusic #musicjournalism

  12. IMHO #Michigan-based #AllMusic has great writers, great content, and comprehensive coverage of almost every album released from the Paleolithic until now (with the notable exception of #BryanAdams LOL). But the web interface has been notoriously awful, often unusable. The most recent update appears to be a slight improvement. Not sure if it's enough. Fingers crossed! #Music #MusicJournalism #MusicBusiness allmusic.com/blog/post/new-and
