"It's Too Late" is a song from #CaroleKing's second studio album, #Tapestry (1971). #ToniStern wrote the lyrics and King wrote the music. It was released as a single in April 1971 by #OdeRecords and reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #AdultContemporary charts. Sales were later #platinum-certified by the #RecordingIndustryAssociationOfAmerica (RIAA). #Billboard ranked "It's Too Late" and its fellow #Aside, "I Feel the Earth Move", as the #No3RecordFor1971.
