La historia es bastante más personal de lo que parece 😏
Ferruccio Lamborghini no era ningún novato.
Después de la guerra se hizo rico fabricando tractores, pero tenía una debilidad: los Ferrari.El problema es que le daban más dolores de cabeza que alegrías.
Su Ferrari 250 GT fallaba mucho, sobre todo el embrague.
Ferruccio, que de mecánica sabía un rato, lo desmontó… y ahí vino el cabreo: Ferrari usaba prácticamente el mismo embrague que él montaba en sus tractores, pero muchísimo más caro.Con eso en la cabeza, se fue directo a ver a Enzo Ferrari.
No fue una charla amable.
Enzo le soltó algo así como: “Un fabricante de tractores no puede entender un Ferrari.”
Error.
Ferruccio no discutió.
Se fue a su casa y tomó una decisión: iba a construir coches mejores.En 1963 nació Lamborghini.
Y no perdió el tiempo.
Primero llegó el Lamborghini 350 GTV, que ya apuntaba maneras.
Pero el golpe real vino en 1966 con el Lamborghini Miura: motor central, diseño brutal… básicamente cambió las reglas del juego.Ferrari tuvo que reaccionar sí o sí.
Y aquí viene otro detalle con mala leche: Ferruccio contrató a Giotto Bizzarrini, un ingeniero que había salido de Ferrari tras discutir con Enzo.
Le pidió un motor V12 mejor que el suyo… y se lo dio.
Tan bueno que incluso tuvieron que “domarlo” para que fuera usable en calle.Lo del toro tampoco fue casual.
Ferruccio era Tauro y quiso plantar cara al famoso caballo de Ferrari.
De ahí nombres como Miura, Islero o Murciélago.Y lo curioso: cuando Lamborghini estaba en pleno éxito, Ferruccio vendió la empresa en los 70 y se retiró a hacer vino.
Sin dramas.Mientras tanto, su “venganza” seguía rodando por el mundo.
Al final, no fue una pelea a gritos.
Fue algo más fino: demostrar con hechos quién tenía razón.Ferrari es historia, competición y tradición.
Lamborghini es orgullo, rebeldía… y un poco de rencor bien aprovechado.
Y eso, bien llevado, mueve montañas 🚗💨

It came to my mind as an independent person that our goal as Malaysians is not to win anything. We don't want to win any war that others may provoke; we are just here in the world to study, get jobs or do business, make money, and worship and repent to God because being alive every day is a blessing to submit to God. Like what my cousin in the Malaysian military said, Malaysia is not a country at war. We have God to worship, responsibilities to maintain (family and religious teachings), and five national principles:
1. Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan
2. Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara
3. Keluhuran Perlembagaan
4. Kedaulatan Undang-Undang
5. Kesopanan dan KesusilaanWe are very Malaysian if we put in the effort and make all these principles a reality in ourselves. We're not powerful; we're Malaysians.
