Find it wild how it's mostly red pill swallowers, conservative snails and tourists getting all worked up over DT. You can think whatever ya want about the story, but when someone spouts off about how supposedly shit the story is, and then I find out they skipped through every single cutscene, I can't take that whinging seriously. That's usually not even criticism anymore.

Was doing the notoriously hard big fishing quest Feast of Famine worth it in Final Fantasy XIV just to put "Of Dragons Deep" on my name?
Yes, absolutely, I love this fishing nonsense. Need to find some interesting stuff to go through from higher level content - some of the fish have effectively item level sync (especially Nepto Dragon) but I did trivialize some of them by being able to throw LV 100 Fisher stats at a quest for LV 50, as well as some of the Dawntrail fishing abilities (being able to store swimbait or increase odds of weak or strong fish).

Might be a bit rusty when it comes to gpose. And all my DoF shaders unfortunately still don't wanna work, so SE's standard function's just gonna have to be enough for now.
Took me several hours just for one screenshot (and fixing the shaders). At least I've managed to get something new done again after all these months. I'm proud of myself. :neofox_floof_happy:

So lemme get this straight... SE's brought out a few changes to /gpose lately (been a bit, but they're there), but still not how the lighting sliders (of the light sources you can set) behave. They jump way more numbers than the ones you actually want. One of the main things that really pisses me off about gposing.

It's ridiculous af and pathetic that after all these months of not even looking at the Steam FFXIV Community forums, it's still the same usual suspects whinging about "woke" elements and carrying on about how terrible and unbearable the game is for them. If that's really how they feel, why the hell are they still wasting their time hanging around there? Why not just move on and find a different game?

I decided to go back to FF XIV, but the only thing that it's keeping me off is the pure, dread chaos that is the Squaresoft account management.
I feel like I'd need a whole night just to figure out which account to reactivate :\
But first, I'm going to convince myself finishing The Last of Us Part 2. Can't have that dangling unfinished in my brain.

I think the... less interesting cutscenes/dialogue in Final Fantasy XIV would be so much more tolerable if you could just also click through animations.
If I do decide to skip a cutscene, those slow and repetitive animations are nearly always the reason, not the dialogue itself.
