Was doing the notoriously hard big fishing quest Feast of Famine worth it in Final Fantasy XIV just to put "Of Dragons Deep" on my name?
Yes, absolutely, I love this fishing nonsense. Need to find some interesting stuff to go through from higher level content - some of the fish have effectively item level sync (especially Nepto Dragon) but I did trivialize some of them by being able to throw LV 100 Fisher stats at a quest for LV 50, as well as some of the Dawntrail fishing abilities (being able to store swimbait or increase odds of weak or strong fish).

Doesn't matter somehow how long I haven't actively played FFXIV, I don't forget how to play my main job, but not the others either. It's like it's carved in stone. Anyway, gonna go have breakfast and all that first. I'll keep playing after/later. The game ain't going anywhere. Don't have any "obligations" there where I'd need to be available 24/7. It's ridiculous af and pathetic that after all these months of not even looking at the Steam FFXIV Community forums, it's still the same usual suspects whinging about "woke" elements and carrying on about how terrible and unbearable the game is for them. If that's really how they feel, why the hell are they still wasting their time hanging around there? Why not just move on and find a different game?

I decided to go back to FF XIV, but the only thing that it's keeping me off is the pure, dread chaos that is the Squaresoft account management.
I feel like I'd need a whole night just to figure out which account to reactivate :\
But first, I'm going to convince myself finishing The Last of Us Part 2. Can't have that dangling unfinished in my brain.

I think the... less interesting cutscenes/dialogue in Final Fantasy XIV would be so much more tolerable if you could just also click through animations.
If I do decide to skip a cutscene, those slow and repetitive animations are nearly always the reason, not the dialogue itself.
