I think the... less interesting cutscenes/dialogue in Final Fantasy XIV would be so much more tolerable if you could just also click through animations.
If I do decide to skip a cutscene, those slow and repetitive animations are nearly always the reason, not the dialogue itself.

Je reviens donc du fan festival #FFXIV qui a eu lieu le week-end dernier à Berlin.
C'était. Magique.
Y'avait plein de problèmes cependant, que je détaillerai dans un billet de blog cette semaine, mai sje comptais déjà faire quelques retours à chaud.
Mais l'essentiel c'est que j'y ai passé un bon moment en compagnie d'amis qui m'ont tous aidé à passer un bon moment malgré quelques petits stress et qui m'ont aidé à surmonter mon handicap durant toute la durée du salon.

The launch of Final Fantasy XIV on Switch 2 on August 4th could be another system seller. I know a few people irl who absolutely love the idea of playing their favourite MMO all the time, everywhere and on the go.
They've even simplified the whole games controls for the S2 release, so this could become a hit if it plays well (and I think it will, I've played #FFXIV on controller for years).

Hmmmmmm. Switch 2 #FFXIV does require an additional subscription, but that subscription can be discounted by 50% if you have the sub on PC / PS5.... It works out to something like another $8ish/mo (because you have to purchase coins through the Nintendo store...). That's not as bad as I was thinking it'd be.
