Plánování tras na kole zmáknuté nemají. Je to spíše tragédie.
Jelikož jsem pár km od hranic, musím si #mapy_cz platit - jedna mapa mi je k 💩
Vracím se na rok k zajetým kolejím (bohužel)...
- mapy_cz jako hlavní mapa a na hrubé plánování, hledání ubytování, hledání přístřešků atd. (placené). Bohužel pořád nelze použít na geocaching.
- gpxmapy.cz pro detailní doplánování (jejich editor umožňuje zrušit routování i na část cesty) - free
- #geocaching návrat k #cgeo (sponzoruji)
- naše "udělátko" které stáhne kešky ze zvoleného kraje do GPX (nebo zvoleného rádiusu) - omezeno na 1000 keší, nově umíme označit pro zvoleného uživatele jako "nalezené". C:GEO to umí také, ale náš script je asi 100x rychlejší a lze ho spustit i na PC. -

Heute war Geocaching-Aufräumtag in Lindau und Umgebung angesagt. Erstaunlich, was man an einem Nachmittag Neues entdecken kann. Ein abenteuerlicher Tag war das und wunderschön.
P.S. Der verstopfte Pfändertunnel verhalf mir zu einem Abstecher nach Hörbranz, wo ich endlich einen LAB vervollständigen konnte.

I like to verify my remote-sensing results directly in the field. Besides basic self-validation, field walks often generate new ideas and hypotheses.
For mobile field GIS, I use QField, loading both final map layers and custom templates for data collection.
Here’s an example from Nose Hill Park, where I checked several locations that showed a consistent NDVI increase in 2025 compared to 2024.

I tried!
I'm usually the one up for a walk. There's a Geocache around 4 km from my hotel - that's a nice afternoon excursion, or so I thought.
After ~500 meters I turned around and went back. #Bangalore has no #walking infrastructure. None. That picture? Just a short stretch, broken sidewalk, cars and motorbikes parked everywhere.
In this city you can't move around if not in a car or on a motorbike. Which adds to the constant traffic jam, noise and pollution.

Here's another project I want to show off: I extracted the location of infrastructure from official land-use planning maps. Data includes sewers, water lines, electricity cables, transformers and gas lines for my hometown Rum and Innsbruck. All the map links are on the overview page. The site is in German unfortunately, because referencing the original maps would be difficult if everything was translated.

Cercare bandi, in Italia, è sempre stato un esercizio di resistenza più che di intelligenza: pagine su pagine, portali che sembrano progettati per scoraggiare, sigle che si rincorrono come se avessero paura di farsi capire. Non è complessità, è disordine organizzato, una nebbia che ti fa perdere tempo e lucidità.
Vistagare non semplifica il mondo, che sarebbe una promessa da venditori di tappeti, ma lo rende leggibile. Prende quel rumore e lo stende su una mappa, lo attraversa con un filo logico, lo espone senza chiederti di diventare un archeologo dei PDF. E poi ci mette sopra una cosa che fino a ieri non c’era: una voce che risponde, che collega, che ti restituisce senso.
Non è magia. È struttura.
E succede una cosa curiosa: mentre altri continuano a cercare, a scavare, a inseguire link e aggiornamenti, tu inizi a riconoscere i pattern, a vedere prima, a muoverti con un passo diverso. Non più dietro alle informazioni, ma dentro.
Il vantaggio non è trovare un bando.
È smettere di perderti nel cercarlo.
