Great Western Railway sort of sucks. Is it owned by auto dealers trying to ruin public transit? Or is it the inevitable result of privatization?
We paid extra to reserve seats. Day of, and Carriage "D" doesn't exist, and my family has to scrounge for seats across 2 different carriages.
No partial refund since we found seats, as far as I can tell.
UK, why have you let your public services turn to shit? You're not America, yet.

I’m cautiously excited about this news. I’ve been using the Plymouth to London line for almost 20 years, and in that time it’s only gotten less reliable and more expensive.
So please, please let this result in better consistency, nicer trains, and generally better pricing.
Driving to London shouldn’t be the cheaper / more effective option.
