Just updated my Fairphone 5 ArchLinux packages to the latest call audio kernel/ucm/q6voiced versions and I'm happy to confirm call audio now seems to work out of the box without major issues.
Thanks to the work done by @valpackett, the bottom speaker is no longer firing for me during calls (producing an echo). That was my last known issue.
Hopefully this can be upstreamed to #postmarketOS soon, I think people are going to enjoy this.

While #Omarchy is a nice topping for #ArchLinux, it's simply too opinionated. When DHH decides: "Aight guys, we (and by "we" I mean "I") will replace waybar with quickshell in the next release" you basically have to accept that or work around it. That doesn't play well with me and my opinions of a sovereign system.
Therefore I just tried my first #NixOS install and so far I'm liking it very much. Gonna play around with it the next few weeks. I might replicate some Omarchy things, though.

We consolidated the #SonicDE for #ArchLinux packages and created a standalone repository at https://sonicde-arch.github.io. There, we provide binary packages for x86_64 and maintain the PKGBUILDs for the #AUR. Please update any existing custom SonicDE entries in your pacman.conf.

Today I learned #BespokeSynth on #ArchLinux freezes when trying to save a project. After I force terminate the application, the save file dialog window appears. On #MXLinux I was able to get my music done though, so that's good!

¿Conflicto entre iptables y arptables en @archlinux?
No es un error, es una migración.
Al actualizar mi Arch me encontré con este mensaje. Lejos de ser un problema, es parte de la transición hacia #nftables como backend unificado.
🔍 ¿Qué está pasando?
El paquete moderno #iptables (1.8.11-4) ahora incluye funcionalidad ARP y Ethernet.
Ya no necesita paquetes separados como #arptables o #ebtables.
#pacman te avisa del conflicto para que no queden paquetes huérfanos.

I currently have #Obsidian installed via #ArchLinux's repos. I've just noticed that it depends on FUSE 2†, and I'm not sure why.
I have read that the AppImage version needs it, but I thought that's more because of AppImage than Obsidian.
So, questions:
- Any idea why Obsidian needs FUSE at all? Is it just Arch, or universal?
- How to people feel about the #Flatpak version of Obsidian?
- If you're running Obsidian on Arch, are you using the one from the repos or the Flatpak version?
† I noticed this because we're currently trying to migrate #plptools from FUSE 2 to FUSE 3, and I was wondering what other things on my system depended on FUSE 2.

My #endeavouros install is bricked because of #archlinux messing with the #nvidia drivers again. And the #GTX1650 is supported in Nvidia 590... I thought... I don't know. Maybe I'm not cool enough to run an #arch variant. I should stick to the #debian and #ubuntu I'm used to.

Haciendo downgrade de #pyqt5 en @archlinux, a veces hay que esperar un poco para que todo el ecosistema de paquetes funcione correctamente.
En este caso, gns3-gui ha quedado atrás y no carga con la nueva release de python-pyqt5 en Arch.
Todo sea para levantar #GNS3 y seguir jugando con parámetros del kernel #Linux para el nuevo curso de #Hardening Linux 😃
